Lance Gooden

Mr. Brewer is a graduate of North Carolina State University receiving both a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineering, and a Minor in Industrial Engineering. Mr. Brewer joins us with over 25 years of industry experience. He most recently served in a variety of management roles at Conestoga Wood Specialties Corporation including Manufacturing & Product Engineer, Information Systems & Engineering Technical Manager, Environmental Manager and Maintenance & Facilities Manager.

Engineering Instructor

Mr. Brickman has served as the Physics instructor at JCC for 7 years. He is the founder and advisor for the STEM club. Mr. Brickman has a Bachelors of Science from Bradley University and received his Masters in Physics from Michigan Technological University.

Physics Instructor

Mr. Gooden received his Bachelors of Science from St. Augustine's and his Masters in Math Education from Campbell University. Mr. Gooden is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher. He has taught Calculus courses at JCC for 10 years.

Director of Programs, Mathematics, Engineering and Social Sciences

Mrs. Dixon has been the Dean of Arts & Sciences for the last 6 years. Her department recently launched the new Associate in Engineering Degree. She holds a Bachelors in Communications from Simmons College and a Masters in Education from Northern Arizona University.
